From Tor/Forge:

“With The Three-Body Problem, English-speaking readers got their first chance to experience the multiple-award-winning and bestselling Three-Body Trilogy by China’s most beloved science fiction author, Cixin Liu. More than two million copies of the trilogy – which includes The Three-Body Problem, The Dark Forest, and now Death’s End – have been sold in China and Cixin Liu has won China’s most prestigious science fiction award a total of nine times.

The Three-Body Problem was released in English by Tor Books in 2014 to great acclaim…It won the Hugo Award and was nominated for the Nebula and Locus Awards. Ken Liu, the translator of both The Three-Body Problem and Death’s End, has recently become a meteoric success in the world of short science fiction. In 2012, his story “The Paper Menagerie” was the first work of fiction, of any length, ever to have swept the Nebula, Hugo, and World Fantasy Awards in one year.”

I loved Three-Body Problem; definitely need to make a point of reading the rest of the trilogy.

I cannot wait to get my hands on it! I search twitter, goodreads, amazon, audible everyday just to try to find new reviews of the books in the trilogy and September seems still far away!

Very nice (hardcover). I have been hearing about this author, but have not been able to land an ARC/Galley to see what all the hubbub's about.

I drool at the thought of all that book-organizing you have an excuse to do now 🙂

The Three-Body Problem was strange and wondrous, perhaps for cultural reasons. Ken Liu's translation superb. Dark Forest wasn't as good, or not as elegantly translated, but took us down an isolationist road. Will Death's End be hopeful, or more sobering? World civilization is struggling with fear, anger, and despair. Will Cixin Liu comfort us, or not? With Ken Liu on board, I want to know.

I have rules. For instance, I don't enter contests. It's not worth the trouble and the prize is usually stuff i don't need or want.

There are exceptions that prove the rules. Cixin Liu is definitely an exception; his writing is definitely not just more stuff.

Ha! I haven't broken my rule. Now, when when I win, the rest of you just need to buy this brilliance with your own Kapitalist Amerikan Dollars.
